What are you doing with the little ones this summer?

Little fun? Funnier? Something else?

Re: Summer"camp" for 2 year olds

Are you home with him or her?

I'd do a "camp" as daycare... but... honestly, my kids never understood/ fully enjoyed the school group thing til a later age (3.5), even though we started earlier. With our youngest, I'm saving the $$ and doing trips by ourselves.

Summer is a great time... good weather, nice for walks, day trips to places, etc. I asked my 5 year old if she wanted to do camp with her big brother who is excited about it (I'm home this summer). Gave her a while to think about it. She said she'd rather do park/backyard/beach/pool/day trips with me and the 2 year old.

Pretty much this, but hours are 9:30-12. He will be going to school there in Sept and joining my older DD, who is also a camper and student.

Look through the town. The camp costs are relatively inexpensive and everyone I know has been happy with them. Dd is going to a camp through the town of islip m-w-f from 830am-1145am.
