Summer Shoes for Crawling Infant
What kinds of shoes are good for a crawling infant in the warm months? He is pulling himself up to standing and almost crawling at the moment. I'm figuring he will be walking by mid to late summer.

It's actually not recommended to put shoes on a baby until he/she is comfortably walking because it can hinder the acquisition of walking skills. They can learn to walk more easily and naturally without shoes so they can feel the floor/ground underneath them. HTH!

No shoes. I did put soft sole shoes (like robeeze) if I thought he might be on the ground while in public.

this. But we did get a pair of sandals for DD to where when we were out in public because even though she wasn't walking yet, she was starting to stand and if we let her out of her stroller she'd definitely pull up to standing. We bought the sandals when we took her to Disney, and were sooo glad we did - we wanted to protect her feet in public - but if we were at a smaller place, I think barefoot or robeez would be fine.

DD is crawling/standing and walks when we hold her hands, so I bought her soft soled sneakers and sandals for when we go to the park or anyplace in public where her feet will be on the ground.
