summer school ?
for those that may have children going to Summer school, when approx does it end? Next week? This week ? TY

I'm currently teaching HS summer school and it's over on Wednesday of this week. The Regents Exams are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week, so I'm assuming all summer schools will be finished this week.
You can always call your school's Summer School Office to find out.

My dds summer program was 6 weeks and is over on Friday...some schools have a 2 week break between regular school year and and 6 week summer session, so they would end next week.

You can always call your school's Summer School Office to find out.
 Long story short , SS is 16 , going into 11th grade .Failed 2 classes, ( or so he BS"d) DH & BM... He has a GF , all the puppy love mushy stuff going on , perfect for a kid who is doing terrible in school to begin with  KWIM.. But anyways he lives with his mom & we get the kids every weekend.. So SS says his mom said its ok that he goes away for 8 days with his GF & her family, Mind you the GF is 15, IDK kids nowadays. I was still freggin playing with barbie dolls @ their age. But anyways., the mom said yes. Dummy that she is.. The sschool has been calling since friday saying he missed classes. Its a pre recorded thing. I told DH he betta look into it as it looks like he skipped the last week of summer school to go with GF. Looks like he is repating 10th grade...

For my school if you miss more than 3 days, you're out. And that's according to NYS law, so if it's a Boces school, most likely, he's out.
Sounds like he lied about that one!

Sounds like he lied about that one!
Yes, you can't miss that many days...and if he's in 11th grade, isn't there a Regents exam he is supposed to be taking with these classes. I'm not sure which classes he is repeating.
