DS is 13 months old right now. So far this summer we have the Bronx Zoo planned plus one mini vacation in July and a week long vacation in August. We already did the aquarium in brooklyn, so we probably won't do that again this year. I am a SAHM but during the week when DH is at work, my best friend is a teacher and has said that she would love to come places with DS and I this summer, so I will have help. We are moving labor day weekend so for the summer we are still in Bayside- any sprinkler parks in the area? Is the one in Great Neck open to anyone? Any indoor things to do on days when it is raining or too hot? My parents have an inground pool so I plan on spending 2-3 days a week there, and of course the beach maybe 2-3 times during the summer. I can't imagine going more than that with an active toddler! Any other ideas? I was so bored last summer since he was a newborn. I really want to be out as much as possible this year!! We got tons of outdoor toys for his birthday, but we can't really use them this year, except the water table, because we are still in our co-op. TIA!
