Suitcase size
My girls (ages almost 3 and 6) have those small 18” Disney suitcases from American Tourister but we have a few vacations coming up in the next few years and need them to have larger suitcases. We’d like to keep with the Disney theme. It seems like the only ones I can find are 21” or 28”. I’m worried 21 will be too small and 28 seems awfully big. What are your thoughts on which size is better? This would be exclusively for checking luggage - we do have the smaller bags if we decide to ever do a carry-on trip. Tia!

Re: Suitcase size
What about a regular 25" suitcase in a "Disney" color, and then Disney themed luggage tags ? Vinyl stickers can decorate the bags too.

Suitcase size
I think 28" is way too big for kids for a weeks vacation. Plus if you fill it up it'll probably be overweight and if you don't fill it things get tossed around. I like the idea of Disney colors with Disney tags. Stickers are cute too but will they stay nice? I'm thinking they'd get destroyed on checked luggage.

That’s such a great idea! I just looked and they have one that is purple with pink designs that can probably pass as a Rapunzel bag!

Great. I wrote that thinking the girls would get more use out of the suitcase when they are older, once they outgrow the Disney phase, My suitcases are 10 years old, battle scarred from twice yearly use but structurally sound. Not in a hurry to replace them.

Re: Suitcase size
Yeah, the ones we were looking at were more timeless and just had large black/white polka dots with a Minnie signature so they weren’t like princess-y babyish but definitely an added perk if a generic bag is longevity of use!
