Suggest some nice sections of Massapequa
That have basements (a lot of the shores don't seem to). I like Harbor Green and Bar Harbour, but $$$.

Re: Suggest some nice sections of Massapequa
Im in North Massapequa, and while its not as fancy as south of merrick road, i find my neighbors are very down to earth, and very friendly, and everyone on my block keeps their homes very well kept, every weekend i see all the husbands doing stuff on the outside of their house.
I am also alot closer living here to the 135 and the southern state, i am about a 2 minute and 5 minute drive to each entrance ramp.
there is a house for sale a few houses down from me and it is in pristine condition.
here is the mls number 2170594
this one is a couple blocks from me 2175896
this one is a couple blocks as well from me 2157196

I don't live in massapequa, but have been south of merrick road a few years ago. it's a PITA to get to the major highways when you live so far down there. but, it is lovely. if you don't have a long commute to work, it's worth it.
Years ago, my parents saw and almost bought a house in old harbor green, 250,000.00 and it was out of their price range!

Re: Suggest some nice sections of Massapequa
We're in Massapequa Park and have a basement. I think most of the houses in the Park have basements since we're not near the water.
I love most areas of Massapequa - I grew up south of Merrick Road. We didn't have a basement though - it was a hi-ranch.

Re: Suggest some nice sections of Massapequa
there are lots of areas in between Sunrise and Merrick Rd that are very nice....not overly stated but some large comfortable homes, most with basements.

Re: Suggest some nice sections of Massapequa
I live in Massapequa Park and love it here and in this area everyone has a basement. Very woodsy with lots of bike trails and parks, friendly nice neighbors. As long as you stay in the Massapequa School district or Plainedge School district the area is nice if you ask me.
