SUFFOLK OBGYN GIRLS...
Do they let you bring in a video for your Level II Sonogram? I've been hearing from lots of people that they were able to bring in a video and that their dr taped it for them. I'd LOVE to be able to have that done! If not, can you bring a video camera?

i asked at my 20 weeks ono if there was a way to video this onto a dvd or something, she said no..i think they sometimes get like sono nazis in there...i dunno..
i was so in and out of that room anytime ive been there, i wish theyd spend more time with me for the sonograms.

I agree about them rushing! I'm not crazy about their sono techs at all!!!! Even the Level II was rushed??

yea, i literally was gonna have my parents and everything there with us, and thankfully they couldnt make it anyway, my friend had hers somewhere else, and said they were with her for almost 40 minutes, showing her every lil bit and part of the baby...
my tech, didnt show me anything, had the screen turned her way, when i asked to see too, she said, "let me get what i need then ill show you your baby", i said ok figuring shed actually "show" me my baby..
and she turns around the screen after 10 minutes of measuring and says "ok here she is" we looked at the baby for about literally what id say was 5 minutes, it was probably less...and she goes, "ok lemme print some pics for you, you guys are done"...
we look at each other, and were like "uh, thats it?"
so she goes, "yea, any longer than that and its usually because the tech doesnt know what theyre doing"
i was so pizzed, theyre retarded like that, it makes me nervous to pay all that money there cause they offer the 3D sono there too, but like, what am i gonna pay and then have a 10 minute thing?
what doctor do you usually use or do you always switch?

I found the sono techs at the Smithtown office are SO much better!!! They are nice, they take their time. My Level II lasted for a good 25 min. When I've had to have a sono at Pt. Jeff (especially downstairs) they are all so cranky and quick. I always scheduled my sonos in Smithtown for that reason.

I always saw Dr. Edwards and I adore him but he is doing pregnancies anymore so I've been switching- haven't seen the same Dr twice yet but so far I've been happy with them all, especially Dr. Petraco and Lograno!

And what office do you usually go to?
I go to Patchogue.

Even 25 minutes isn't that long compared to what other girls have experienced!! I've never been to the Smithtown office- I'm gonna see about switching my Level II to there. Thanks for the info
