Suffolk County Green Key- does it attach to your car?
Is it a sticker? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth buying. Sometimes we take one car, sometimes the other. We don't use the parks enough to warrant getting two.
Can we use one for two cars? TIA!

The sticker would allow you to drive on some beaches.. and gets you in to most if not all for free.

Isn't that the separate beach permit for 4-wheel drive vehicles to drive out onto the beach areas that permit that?

I just got the green key ID card this week and didn't receive a sticker.
Also, the card is good for 3 yrs.
I think the sticker is for the Empire Pass.

Suffolk County -
The Green Key is a wallet card for all parks and is good for three years.
The Beach Permit is a sticker that attaches to the front bumper and is only good for year (this is a permit to drive on the beach - 4 wheel) -
Empire Pass -
is a sticker that affixes to the window of your car and is good for NY State Parks and Beaches and is good for one year.
There is also a NYS Fishing Permit that allows you to drive on the beaches, but you have to have purchased that my April 30th.
I usually get them all...this is the only reason I know...
