Suddenly not liking solids
Dd always loved her purees and oatmeal. Always finished what I gave her for the most part.
Lately she takes all of her bottles, but only a few spoonfuls of the purees or oatmeal. A little more if she takes it herself out of the pouch
I know the formula is more important at her age (9 months next week). But should I be concerned?
We go to her pedi for her 9 month appt and I know he will tell us to introduce table foods then. Maybe that will be better.

Try letting her feed herself. My dd would go through phases and still does at 10.5 months. Sometimes she loves when we feed her other times she wants us to spoon feed her.

Re: Suddenly not liking solids
Sounds totally normal. I wouldn't be overly concerned. My DD started refusing purées around that time too, although she did do better with the pouches bc she could easily feed herself that way. Dr had told me at her 9 month visit that her refusal of baby food was her way of letting me know she was ready for table food.

By 9 months DS was eating table food and no longer interested in purees. It's possible you need to try more real foods.

DD really resisted purees. I started table food around that time.

I def think she's over purees and oatmeal. Our next appointment isn't until next week for her 9 month wellness visit, but I called the dr this morning to ask about table foods.

You don't need to wait for the Dr to say yes. Just follow the same guidelines for new food for allergies.

I was going to say the same thing. My dd has gone through periods where she refuses solids when she's got a tooth coming in.
If you're very concerned, call your pediatrician just to be sure. I called when my dd hadn't eaten solids for a few days and was told if she doesn't have a fever I shouldn't worry as long as she goes back to eating within a few days, which she did once her tooth broke through.

I don't think she has a tooth coming in, but she has been off the last couple days. Every nap is CIO. She's clingy and fussy when she's not near me.
She wasn't like that when her other two teeth came in though.

Some teeth are tougher than others... or maybe more than 1 is coming in... my dd is getting 4 teeth at once...
or could she be getting sick?

I found that letting DS play with a spoon or bowl helped distract him during tougher feedings. I think DS gets annoyed sometimes because he is too busy playing and having fun to stop and eat!
