Sudden separation anxiety at 2.5 years
DD has never had any separation anxiety until 5 days ago. At first it was just putting her to bed. She was hysterical every time we would kiss her and say goodnight. Once we left the room she started screaming but only for a couple of minutes. Now today, I can't leave the room without her screaming for me. I don't get it. Nothing has changed at all. Has this happened to anyone else and their toddler? I was thinking about calling the doctor, but I'm not sure he can really help with this.
