SUCH a weird feeling...

The very top of my stomach, right underneath my bra line used to get numb if I was sitting for awhile, but now it's so much more frequent and it's SUCH a weird feeling. I asked my Dr. about it last time I was there and he said it's normal but if it starts to bother me a lot that I should get 1 of those support bands.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, does the support band help? It just doesn't look comfortable to me and it's not like I'm in pain, it's just annoying.

i had that! i opted not to get a support band, largely out of laziness. HOWEVER... the numbness turned into pain as my pregnancy progressed. And right in that spot, I had EXCRUCIATING pain while I was in labor (that the epidural did not help). And even now, at almost 5 months post-partum, I occasionally still have pain in that spot.

If i could go back in time, I'd get the support band. Don't know for sure that it would have helped, but worth a shot.

I'm sorry, this sounds so scary but I'm just trying to be honest about what *I* experienced. I doubt it happens to everyone like that, but just throwing this out there for you
