Subchorionic Hematoma?
Ladies, did anyone have this condition in 1st trimester? Please tell me when and how it resolved? how was it diagnosed?

I had it with both my DD and my current pregnancy....
I was under the care of an RE and had IVF both times ( apparently they are very common with IVF pregnancies and with previous c-sections from what I was told) With my DD it was noticed on a sono at the RE...With  I found out after a bleeding episode after I was released to my OB....
SCH's can either be re-absorbed into the body or will "bleed out" which is what happened with mine...The trail of blood working its way out can actually be seen on sonogram ...
With my DD I had A LOT of bleeding (multple times)  ...Though nerve wracking, once it was determined that the SCH was the cause, I relaxed a bit..
This pregnancy I only had one bleeding incident (lasting a few days) in the 1st tri-mester...
Hard to say when exactly my 1st one resolved because it was also coupled by placenta previa and that too caused bleeding so its hard for me to remember what bleeding was from what

i have 2 in my placenta...i had a very bad bleed at 9 weeks, been seeing a high risk doctor since then and i'm being treated with lovenox injections to help the blood from clotting, mine did not heal itself or absorb, they are still there but i have had no other bleeding since that one time and i'm going to be 30 weeks on thursday.

No, as far as I know there are no meds that would help with it...Its sort of a thing that needs to resolve itself, kwim ?
Its a pocket of blood that will come out ( sometimes as the uterus grows it pushes it out)
The location and size of the size of the SCH is what really determines what impact (if any) it will have on the pregnancy...
As nervewracking as SCH's are ( and believe me , each episode is jsut as nervewracking as the last) they are relatively common...Do a search on here..I bet you will find a bunch of pregnancies with SCH's that had great outcomes

yes....the 1st time it happend to me I was standing in the kichen and all of a sudden I felt a huge gush out of no-where...went to the bathroom and was saturated in bright red, straight through my pants 
I thought for sure it was over....It was after hours , went to the ER and left with paperwork for "spontaneous miscarriage" ( in case this happens to you and you need to go to the ER, try to keep in mind they are NOT OB's and not really trained in the field from what I experienced) ....My spontaneous miscarriage is now 23 months old and hanging on my leg right now

I have this, and I'm currently 11w. It was diagnosed at my 7 week sonogram, and I was told to come back at 9 weeks for another sonogram to check the status. It was still there, but hadn't gotten bigger, or shrunk. I've been told it will either absorb or bleed out, but so far I haven't bled it out. I thought I had minor spotting the other day, but it was so faint I couldn't really be certain. I won't know until next week at my 12 week sonogram what the progress on it is. It's very common, but it's extremely nerve wracking. The dr. told me that sometimes the baby bursts a blood vessel when it implants in the uterine wall, and that's most likely what happened to me since I never had IUI or a c-section and did experience implantation bleeding.

i had it this pregnancy and was diagnosed by an ultrasound. i was spotting at 5 weeks and nothing was detected. i spotted again at 6 weeks (pink/brown) and the ultrasound showed a sch.
It got much larger over the next few weeks but then by my 12 week sono it was gone.
I usually spotted when i did something more than i should have in the house or went walking.
I am already on lovenox and asprin for a clotting issue i have. the re said that it could have been a side effect of the lovenox i was on but to continue taking the blood thinners.
usually they resolve on their own and dont cause any complications

ITA with Bops. I got pregnant with DD via IVF and ended up with a very large hematome and bled out at 6 weeks pregnant. I was getting out of DH's car, coughed and it just poured out. It kept coming in gushes all night after that (I went to the ER). It eventually faded away and was gone by around 16 weeks. I was on baby aspirin my entire pregnancy.

I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma and it dissolved by 12 weeks. It's nervewracking - but very common

I had one. they found it by chance when I had a sono. Apparently most women get this, but may not realize they have one because many absorb themselves and disappear quickly.(that is what my dr. said) I went in on 11/11 when they saw it, and 2 weeks later, it wasn't there anymore. Other cases are more intense however.
