Stupid question about BM and weaning
Sorry I know this is probably a stupid question...
I want to stop BFing at one year (for various reasons), but we still have a ton of BM frozen.
Loey doesn't HAVE to switch to milk at that time, right? How much BM would he get after one year old?
Also, once you stop BFing... what do you do with your LO when they wake up? We've always BF as soon as he wakes up... now what? He's off bottles already and isn't a huge fan of sippy cups.... would he just get a sippy cup first thing in the AM? Filled with what? BM or milk?

DD's still going through my freezer stash at almost 14 months and gets a sippy cup of whole milk every now and then as well.
She usually gets three 6 oz bags of frozen BM a day and water whenever else she's thirsty (haven't introduced juice yet.)
When she wakes up in the morning, she drinks a sippy of BM or milk. It's like her version of a morning cup of coffee

Silly question, but where does she drink it? I've always brought Loey into bed with me to BF in the mornings and I'm sad thinking he'll miss out on that little cuddle time with Mommy!

She drinks it in her Fisher Price Rocker while I'm scrambling like a lunatic getting her and DS's stuff together for daycare. There's no reason you still can't cuddle in the mornings though!

DS gets a cup of milk as soon as he wakes up. He usually wakes up going, "Mommy! Mom! MILKKKK! Dada! MILK!!!! MILK MILK MILKKKKK"

I still have a small freezer stash so each day, DS gets about 6 oz of bm and the rest whole milk in a bottle. He usually drinks his bottles lounging on the couch (next to me or someone obviously)
