Stupid question
why are you not supposed to lift things while pregnant? dh and i just got a new table and i have 6 heavy chairs and a heavy table to bring outside (for garbege tomorrow) and he's sleeping, can i just do this myself?

No! I'm not sure 100% why, but people have told me that it can lead to early labor in the later part of pregnancy. Not to mention that it is just the "over-working-yourself" factor.

I don't know the "exact" medical reason of why we aren't supposed to lift heavy objects but I defintely would not lift a table and chairs- My OB isnt even happy about me lifting my DS who is 39lbs ! Good Luck, time to wake up DH
