Stupid nursery school / gift question
My DS is in a 2 yr old nursery program 2 days a week for 2 hours per class. He has 2 teachers. The class mom asked that everyone chip in $15 for a group gift to the teachers. Before she asked for the money I was thinking of getting each of the teachers a gift on my own. So first question -- should i buy additional gifts (I've already sent in my $15), and will other moms likely send in additional gifts as well? Second question -- in this situation what do you usually buy?

Re: Stupid nursery school / gift question
personally, I think whatever you want to do will be fine. Whether you just participate in the group gift or get something additional with it is totally your call.
DD is in pre-K 3X a week (3 hrs each day). I'm planning on getting both of her teachers a gift card to starbucks or the likes. Not spending too much money on it, just something to say that we appreciate them. As a former preschool teacher myself, things like this were awesome. But I would have appreciated a group gift too even without anything additional.

I just contribute to the group gift and that's it.
