Stupid Heartburn Question...
So what exactly does heartburn feel like... I'm 13 weeks and I sometimes feel (mostly at night) nauseous but it's more like I'm nauseous in my throat, not my stomach. Like (sorry to be gross) my stomach is filled up to my throat and vomit is waiting right there. My DH thought heartburn had to also involve chest pain or aches, but I don't have that. A glass of milk seems to help it. Is this heartburn?

not sure, that's not what it feels like for me - but i think its different for everyone.
for me it feels like a surge of acid low in my throat, almost in my chest... like when you burp and it hurts (hope that makes sense  )
if milk helps, then yes, i think that's what heartburn feels like for you!

I kind of group it all together, but I have that same feeling and I would say indigestion. Some nights I have the reflux where it burns my throat and that is a horrible feeling. I dunno, I guess they all kinda fall into the heartburn category!!

This is what I get too. It feels like a burning sensation right down my chest. DH keeps asking me why I say "ow" after I burp. It's bad at night, especially if I'm laying in bed on my right side.

Yeah, it's an acidic nausea, but I don't have a burning. Maybe it's a heartburn/indigestion combo. How fun...
