strollers have me totally confused...
if you have a travel system, the carseat snaps into the stroller? or are they two seperate things?
If you have a travel system, you don't need a snap and go or a regular stroller?

I am looking into getting a travel system
to me its 2 in one
a stroller and car seat/carrie and you can leave the car seat in the stroller if needed

You don't NEED anything you don't want. The travel system is a "cheaper" way to buy the carseat and the stroller together. All infant seats will click into the stroller by the same manufacturer. The stroller that is included in a travel system is a regular old stroller, just paired with a matching carseat.
The Snap and Go is just a frame that attached to the infant carrier- as the full on stroller can be pretty bulky. I registered for both a travel system and a Snap and Go. I know we'll use the stroller later on when she outgrows the infant carrier.
Confusing ain't it?

Yes the carseat snaps into the stroller so you don't need anything else

The carseat snaps into the stroller. I have the graco quattro tour travel system. In the beginning when I was recovering and after i was easier just to use the stroller frame(snap and go) then take the cumbersome stroller out most of the time. But that's just me!
Technically you don't need anything else with a travel system.

on consumer reports the travel system car seat safe seat is rated the poorest plese be cautious when registering

I think I am going with the Chicco Cortina travel system and the snap n' go or Snug ride, whichever is better, for the car so I don't have to lift the heavy stroller all the time.
