Strollers and Disney
I have a 4 and 6yo. We are going to Disney in May. At this point, all I have left on strollers is a MacLaren umbrella stroller, so I do not want to bring that, as it really is too small.
So....do you think I need a stroller? Should I just rent it from Disney when I get there? Do I need a double for both kids? Should I rent ahead of time from an outside place?
Thanks in advance

Re: Strollers and Disney
I rented a double city mini stroller from an outside place. My kids were 3 and 6. We tend to do a full day at the park and they both fell asleep in the stroller. If you rent from Disney you have to give it back before you walk out, plus they're not very comfy.

Strollers and Disney
I've rented from Baby Wheels Orlando a couple of times now for my 6 year old. I've rented the City Mini GT (higher height limit than the regular). Worked out great. My DD is a complainer and would not walk all day and night, so a stroller made the day more enjoyable for all!

Re: Strollers and Disney
My kids were turning 4 and 6 on our trip last May. We rented a city mini gt for the week from babywheels. It was perfect. Delivered to and picked up from our hotel. Large sign so easy to spot in crowds. Definitely rent. They did walk a lot but when it was very crowded at rope drop, after fireworks they coukd jump in. Anytime we wanted to get across the park quickly they rode or when tired. We just parked it and did a large section at a time, then retrived it.

Re: Strollers and Disney
My boys were 6 at the time of going, and we NEEDED a stroller. It is a lot of walking. Wound up renting a double at each park.

Re: Strollers and Disney
i would rent a double from an outside company. The park ones are about $30 a day and hard plastic.
We just got back yesterday with a 7 month old and a 3 yr old. we brought 2 strollers but I think next time we would rent one and have it in the room

I think you've made a good choice. I would definitely rent a stroller, it'll make EVERYONE much happier/comfier/less cranky at the end of the day (and in the middle of it too!) Renting from an outside company is significantly cheaper than renting from Disney. I work with several reputable stroller rental companies and would love to help you find the best deal.
