Stroller relief!
So after agonizing for months over which stroller to get...should we get the bugaboo or not...going back and forth and going bananas I finally made a decision!
Went to check out the bugaboo for the 20th time in BBB. The salespeople there are so helpful and the girl helping me was honest...she said beautiful stroller...rides like a dream but if you live in the city eventually you will end up with a maclaren. She also said that the bugaboo was more of a walking stroller not in and out of the car stroller (which I kind of knew from before) and that most likely the baby would outgrow the stroller by the time she was about 2.5 years old. This is something I had noticed before...most of the kids that I have seen in bugaboos that are over 2 years old do not look comfortable!
At my job shower yesterday we got the infant car seat and graco snugrider which I think I'll use most of the winter. I also have a Pliko P3 stroller..hand me down from my sister which will be more of our "cushy" stroller. And with the money I had left over from my job shower I ordered me a Techno XT 2007 in powder pink off of ebay for $209.
The Technos run about $300 in BBB so I was happy with the price and the color which is not available in BBB or BRU.
So here's my new stroller...can't wait until my baby girl gets to use it.
I know for a fact Maclarens are very durable and the weight limit is 55lbs so I know this is something by will use for many years.

Re: Stroller relief!
Enjoy! I think you've made some great decisions. There really is no perfect one stroller -- each stroller has pros/cons for different situations. Sounds like you've got a great combination!
