stroller HELP THANKS ALL! Decided on the CITY MINI!!!

DH and I registered for the snap and go to use with the infant car seat, but we are confused about what other stroller to get. We registered for a mclaren quest sport. Im second guessing this.

A friend told me that I may need a stroller for in between the snap and go and the mclaren. What do you think?

Also, I was looking at the stoller again yesterday with my mom and am worried it is going to be hard to open and close.

Please help

Also, please suggest other strollers DH and I can look at today. What did you register for? I have to decide to today because my shower invites went out already.

THANKS!!!!!

update;
We decided to go with the city mini. we love how easy it was to close. but will still stick with the snap and go thanks everyone!!

Re: stroller HELP

I registered for the peg perego switch. It can be used just like the snap n go with the infant seat snapping right into the chassis. But then you also have the regular seat it comes with for longer trips or when the baby grows out of the infant seat. Then I did also get the Maclaren Quest for quick trips when the baby is done with the infant seat.

I do know that alot of peole really like just the snap n go and then a light weight stroller like the city mini or a maclaren and don't get an "in between" stroller. But for me this is what worked best.

Re: stroller HELP

We registered for and got the City Mini-I just used it with the snap and go attachment for the first time and I adore it! It folds easily and maneuvers well-I am recovering from a c/s and had no problems with pushing it!

there is an attachment that you buy for the city mini that allows you to mount the car seat onto the stroller.

we got the same thing. the city mini is a dream to push and also to fold up and open up as well. definitely take a look at it.

Re: stroller HELP

With DS i had the snap n go, and then the macclaren. It was grey and green, I always forget which one it is, if you want to know just let me know I'll find it out.

This was PERFECT for us. We used the snap n go for the first 3 months, then switch to the macclaren. Its light weight and way simple to use!

There is an attachment for the city mini, I have to be honest and say it is completely flimsy and I won't use it ((I just tried it out on our double stroller)). Not sure if the single is much better.

Re: stroller HELP

if you will need a third stroller depends on how you plan to use them. i like my Quest for quick shopping trips but it isn't my first choice for fairs, walks around the neighborhood, trips to the zoo/aquarium, etc. plus, DD doesn't have any place to store snacks or toys (no tray on it). for those things I use my jogger (got it used).

Re: stroller HELP

Honestly, If I had to do it over again, I would have gotten snap and go (again) and then waited to get a "real' stroller. After a few months you'll see what your needs really are and then make a better decision as to which one would be the best for you.

Re: stroller HELP

We got the Snap N Go and then the Graco Metrolite. DD is 2.5 and we still use the Metrolite almost daily.

I agree. But if you want to get one for your shower, keep it in the box in case you change your mind.

That said, I love my Maclaren Quest.

We did not have to register for an in between stroller.
The city mini was lightweight, easy to fold up and easy to maneuver.

These are the two strollers I have. DD is 5 months and we are still using the switch with the peg perego infant seat. When I stop using that seat we'll put the intended switch seat onto it. This stroller is durable and great for walking. I'll be using the quest for shorter trips.

Re: stroller HELP

I had a Bugaboo, which has a bassinet, regular seat that reclines, and you can snap the car seat into it. We used this while DD was very small (couldn't sit up), the entire time she was in the infant car seat, and now for walks, longer trips to the mall, theme parks, the beach...anywhere that we will be for a while.

I have the Maclaren Triumph for quick trips to the store or mall. Couldn't use until she was sitting up.

I don't think anyone needs 3 strollers.

I did the same thing! I was first going to get the adapter for the city mini, but the snap and go was almost the same price, and I thought it would be easier with the infant carrier.

Re: stroller HELP

i liked the uppababy vista because it has the option for bassinet stroller or regular stroller and you can get a $34-$45 attachment that allows you to attach graco, peg perego or chicco car seats as a snap n go feature as well.
