Stroller Help

I have been having a difficult time choosing a stroller I like. I am deciding between the Peg Perego Skate and the Bugaboo Cameleon.

I am leaning more towards the Peg Perego Skate. We went to see both strollers yesterday and the Skate (IMO) looks more sportier than the Cameleon.

Now if I go with the Skate I am undecided on the color. I am not a "red" person as it's not my favorite color although the color "Tango" in the Skate is very eye catching, it's really pretty! I plan on saving the stroller for my next child but if I have a boy do you think the color red is feminine? The other color we have in mind is Moka (brown with taupe in the inside).

I would appreciate your opinions, thanks! Chat Icon

ETA: Just out of curiosity, does anyone know of a place that carries the Bugaboo Cameleon in all denim? Everywhere I have called is telling me it's out of stock.

Me too! We are having a boy and most of the "equipment" we got is red/black/gray.

Re: Stroller Help

If you go with the Tango, you can use it for both girl or boy and just add gender-related decorations.

Re: Stroller Help

I like the Peg's. I don't have the Skate but my sister's is still in great shape after 2 brutal boys & tons of traveling.

I also like red for girl or boy. IMO I'd get the red. I got the toffee color & returned it for the green. It was just to boring.

Re: Stroller Help

My Husband and I are also looking at the Skate. I wanted to purchase it at BBB, because I added it to my registry and I can use my 10% off.... but I can't find a BBB that carries it in Moka. We are having a boy and we had the same thought... We should really get something gender neutral. I love the tango and the bubbles green... I just couldn't see myself those colors..

Re: Stroller Help

i don't have an opinion on the two strollers themselves, but i think red is a fantastic gender neutral color! our nursery accents are red and i got a small maclaren in red and navy.

Re: Stroller Help

I think red is a great color for either gender - we just visited a friend who recently had a baby and everything was red - it was so cheerful!!!

I saw the Skate in a store - I had been in love with it based on internet shopping - but when I saw it in person I just thought it looked so big and heavy. But I wouldn't let myself touch it since I'm only about 71/2 weeks along!!!! Also, since it's brand new, there arent' many reviews for it yet. I would love to know more about your comparisons between the Skate and the Bug!
