Strep + Moms
I just found out I'm strep + & wanted to know what that actually means.
(BTW, I'm allergic to penicillin also...)

It's a bacteria that is harmless to mothers but if passed on to the baby they can get sick from it. You get treated with antibiotics while you're in labor or if your water breaks so it's important to get to the hospital if you think your water has broken. Since you're allergic to penicillin they will probably give you clindamycin.
