strange solicitation
I have no idea if its legit and found it to be rather odd..
some college kid rings my bell selling kids books , only carrying receipts to fill out if I want to order and saying how he gains points towards school..he says he gets dropped off to meet 10 people a day in all different neighborhoods..
anyone else hear of such a thing or had this happen to you?
i turned him away of course- I guess to me a little scary since I'm the only one on my block so far..

I've gotten those before. Their stuff is usually WAY overpriced, but they are typically harmless. I don't really answer the door now though for people I don't know.

I didn't even bother asking prices..but I was a bit nervous and only had the door open a crack...from now on I don't answer it..thanks for the reply

That's really strange... I had a kid knock on my door about magazines a few months back with only receipts in hand.
