Strange kids getting in DC's face.....
Would you be bothered by strange young girls coming up to your DC to try and hug and kiss them, especially if you were in the ped. office?

the other day a little girl came running over and was sticking her head in my dd car seat. The mother right away said " dont worry shes here for a well visit". I dont know if i gave off a vibe or she was weary herself of others going up to her child.
I try and keep her away from other children b/c shes very young and hasnt had all her shots yet.

DD has has a lot of shots including MMR its just something about it that urks me. She isnt in daycare either so that can have a lot to do with it. I also coddle her way to much. I need to stop

If they were being nice and wanted to play with my child, I wouldn't find it strange.
ETS that is unless they are sick and coughing at my kid or something lol

In the peds. office I wouldn't want anyone getting in DS's face b/c I would assume their there b/c their sick...even if its just a cold.

Kids are kids, they dont have the same barriers as adults. every time I take DS to Ped (well side) kids come up and say HI. I htink it's cute, as long as they are healthy. I figure it will be my child one day saying HI, so I don't get upset.

YES!!! This has happened to us numerous times with little kids (mostly girls) and it annoys me to no extent. I politely tell the children to beat it but then I start getting pizzed when the parents still allow it. I don't find it cute when the same child keeps doing it.
