Storing / Sorting Makeup

I need something that I can use to store and sort my makeup. I am looking for something with drawers that I can use on my countertop. I have lots of little eyeshadow pots from Bare Escentuals and I need recommendations on how to keep this area looking neat!!

I don't have anything specific in mind, I appreciate recommendations.

hmm perhaps look at the makeup cases in Ulta and Harmons. They seem to have a selection of big ones that can keep you organized.

I store all my makeup in a Caboodle. I think I bought it in target or a store like that. Sephora doesnt have caboodles but they have makeup cases that are really nice but are pricier. They have them on their website.

Re: Storing / Sorting Makeup

I have all my make up, mostly bare essentials also, thrown into a big container I got from my other fav company - Philosophy! Every weekend I say i'm going to clean it out and sort it and still have yet to do that. Maybe you will motivate me to get something more convenient too!

I use a drawer organizer. i think i either got it in BBB or the Container Store.

Mine is wicker and stays out on the counter unless someone's coming over Chat Icon - but I found this bamboo one on the CS site:

i use those silver like tackle boxes that they sell in the stores. I use them for jewerly as well, it has that felt lining so the silver won tarnish

I have these but they are clear plastic.

I store them on my makeup vanity.

I bought these two simple night stands with 2 small drawers in each. They are next to each other so it looks like one unit. One drawer is all lip stuff (lipstick, gloss, pencils), another is all eye stuff, another is blush, poweders, glitter (Chat Icon ), and the fourth is tools and miscellaneous. I have tiny little baskets to keep things together.

This is how OCD I am. For the lip drawer, I took old tea boxes and cut off the tops. All brown shades are in a box, all reds, all pinks, all purples. I used to put them label side up but the drawers here are too shallow.

I'm so inspired to talk about make up today that I'm even including pictures. Chat Icon
