Store made cupcakes
I was going to make them for upcoming party but I know I'm going to stress myself out with it. I'm going to order around 60 and I would like to know what store you think makes the best ones (BJs, Waldbaums, Costco, Stop&Shop...).
btw wish I could afford ones from a bakery (like how they decorate them) but a lot of them start at $3.50 each!

Costco has prepacked cupcakes that are HUGE. Can easily feed two people. I think it is 10-12 per box.
They are very good.

IMO you cant go wrong with Costco or BJs (esp the price) - I hate bakery cakes but think their cakes/cupcakes taste homemade (=delish!!)

My aunt always buys cakes / cupcakes from Costco. They are really good and people are always asking which bakery she bought it from.

i've never had cupcakes from either place, but i agree that Costco's bakery is very good, as well as Waldbaums!

BJs cupcakes are cheaper than Costco's. I think they were something like $5.99 / dozen. A friend had them for a 1st birthday party recently... they were great!

I despise grocery store bakeries usually.. they use palm oil for everything. Waldbaum's is better than the rest of the supermarkets though. I would probably opt for Costco - their stuff usually tastes the freshest.
