I think it depends how gradually you stopped.... I cut back over several months, down to only one short pump a day, so I didn't leak at all. However I did have some engorgement about a week after stopping pumping, which I applied pressure to in order to express it & then it all dried up completely shortly after. However after being completely dried up for 2 months, my milk came back in for no reason & I leaked quite a bit for a week or so... that seems to have stopped now too though thankfully... very odd.

If you want to dry up, place cabbage leaves in your bra for a couple of days. Sounds crazy, but it works.
