Stonybrook hospital and breastfeeding
Do they give you anything when you leave the hospital for breastfeeding? I am trying to register but im not sure what to put on it for bf.

In terms of what a boppy or anything......No. The LC stopped in everyday and all the nurses were so helpful.....One was actually a LC herself.
The only thing the hospital gave me was a post partum band for my c-section that was AWESOME!!!

I am not sure what you are referring to as in things that SB would give you. But I agree with the PP that the LC and nurses were awesome when it came to BFing. They were so helpful!

I left with a ton of lansinoh tubes (the little sample ones). Also, the LC gave me a lot of printouts on BFing and a chart to fill out for the number of feeds, pees and poops per day. That was it though. I stopped using both the lansinoh and the charts after the 2 week.

I got this: lansinoh tube (the little sample one) AND two pumps (the manual kind) but I never used them..
The nurses were amazing in helping me, each one of them took the time to really sit down with me and help. They were great!!
