Stony Brook Visiting
Does anyone know if they allow children who are not siblings of the baby in? My SIL is delivering there today and I want to know if I can bring them to see their new cousin. Thanks

Re: Stony Brook Visiting
on the tour they told us that no children under 14 allowed unless the are the siblings of the baby
I am not sure if this is year round or just cold/flu season but I think its year round.

Stony Brook Visiting
I delivered there last week and my 7 year old nephew was able to come in with no problems according to my SIL.

Oh wow I didn't even think about asking this question! Guess I need to start warning my siblings now.

When I delivered two years ago there they told me the same thing. I delivered in March. Could be a flu season rule which flu season is still in effect. Just call and ask

actually - now that I think about it - I believe they said its because they are trying to keep the floor quiet because of sleeping babies (and moms takin naps) and it gets noisy when people have a lot of kids visiting ( I think there was issues with them running around the hall etc) . So I guess it would be a year round thing.
