Stony Brook Visitation policy
I am sooo hoping I heard right, that stony brook dropped the restriction on visitors under 14.. My daughter was soo upset that she might not be able to see the baby when it's born, but i just heard that they dropped the age restriction.
Does anyone know how true this is???

The visitation policy while I was there was.....No children under the age of 13 with the exception of siblings of the new baby.

i was just there in early April and my DD was able to come up and visit- she is 21 months... no one stopped my MIL to ask if she was a sibling or not when they brought her up...

In most hospitals the age restriction does not apply to siblings.

i work there, and if you're talking about the restrictions that were in place at the time of flu season, those restrictions have been lifted :O)

I delivered in Feb and my son was able to visit (he is 5). At the time the ban was lifted for siblings, my neice and nephew could not visit though.
