Stomach bug **update at bottom**

So i think my DH has the stomach bug!

he came home from work and was throwing up all night long!

he slept on the couch...but im terrified i am going to catch it?!

how bad would that be to get while pregnant!!!

ive made it almost 31 weeks without being naseous, and without throwing up it would be a shame if i started now!!

im also worried it would be bad for the baby!

Ugh, this is my worst nightmare right now. I hate hate the stomach bug. My husband seems to always bring it home from the hospital. He's in the ER now so it seems like it's the only kids he sees are ones with the stomach bug.

The only thing that really can prevent you from catching it is, is serious hand washing, like obsessive and disinfecting the bathroom after each use. Don't share food or cups etc. It's not airborne, but it is super contagious.

The good news is it won't hurt the baby if you do get it just keep hydrated and if you can't keep anything down for 12 hours call your doctor.

I caught it Sunday night. I was up every two hours puking my guts out Stupid me decided to wake up the next morning to attempt to go to work. That failed big time. I was so weak the next day I literally did not get out of bed at all. I'll tell you for sure, It only lasted 24 hours. By Tuesday morning I was feeling like a million bucks!

I hope you dont catch it. Not fun at all. Especially being pregnant!

I had it w/ DD. I'm not gonna lie, it was bad!

What I do when people are sick is wipe EVERYTHING with alcohol (except wood). Door knobs, refrigerator handles, etc. Good luck, i hope you don't catch it.

I had it a couple of weeks ago and it wasn't pretty.

The only thing that made me stay hydrated was letting ice chips melt in my mouth.

update-

well i caught it!!!! last night was awful!!! felt fine all day and went to bed around 10 woke up at 12 not feeling so hot...it wasnt even a nauseous feeling at first mix between heartbun an upset stomach. couldnt fall back to sleep because of the awful heartburn so DH ran to 711 to get me some tums....the second he left i lost it! and it was like that every hour pretty much all night. so far irigt now it has been the longest ive gone with out puking, so hopefully its done!! i still feel like crap tho...

i think the last time i had a stomach bug was when i was a kid in grade school!!! ive been lucky this pregnancy without getting sick...but this just sucks!

pray its over!!!!

Oh God Jess! That sucks ... feel better soon! Make sure you drink lots of water if you can keep it down ... you def do not want to get dehydrated.

I just got over it myself, it was HORRIBLE! I got so dehydrated DH took me to the ER. I got an IV and some zofran and I felt so much better. lots of its gone soon. the ER dr told me its running for 4 days and gets worse before better, thank god it only took about 24 hours for me to kick it
