Stim questions
I'm scheduled to start stims on Friday. I have an appointment that morning to make sure I can start (last time they delayed me 2 days b/c my lining was too thick). The problem is, I'm suppose to go to a Yankee game that night. What should I do about my shots that night???
I'll be on repronex and follistim.
Can I pre-mix the repronex so I only have to bring the syringe with me or do I have to bring the vials with me and mix it right before I do the shot?
My follistim is in the fridge as of now and I'm pretty sure that once I put the cartridge in the pen, I don't have to refridgerate anymore so long as I'm going to use it within a month. Is that right?

Hmmmm....not sure what to tell you as far as the Repronex (never took it) but from what I was told Follistim must stay refrigerated, even after its in the cartridge....I would maybe call the Fololistim hotline on the pamphlet (I'm going by what the nurse at my RE office told me  )

You can probably call your pharmacy that supplied it. I know mine was very helpful. You cannot be the first one to have a life when on injects.

Can you just do your injections before you go or when you get home?
If we had something going on during an evening, We would either do my injections before leaving the house, or when we got home. I never had a problem.

Repronex is basically menopur right? I know you have to mix and use menopur within 15 minutes. Good luck!!

I was thinking about doing this. It's the first night so it might not be that big a deal if I don't do it around 8pm. I can't do it before b/c I am leaving straight from work to go to the game but after is always an option.

That's what I did - I just did it before I went out or after I got home.
I even went away overnight with the Follistim...I put it in a freezer bag with ice packs in a insulated lunch bag and it stayed cold and it was fine.

I was told you can't mix and take them with you, but I was on GonalF and Repronex.
I would just try to do it before it you can...
