Steroids while stimming
Has anyone done steroids while stimming for an IVF cycle?
If so...what kind, how much, and what was the reason for taking them?

Is that the Medrol (there is a longer name for this but I cannot spell it)? I think its to help implantation in conjunction with assisted hatching.

At Cornell they give you Medrol to take after ER...
I'm talking about taking steroids while stimming, usually to combat immune issues...

LI-IVF has us take dexamethasone. One per night while stimming.
ETA - I'm not sure the reason. I have to check my info at home unless someone else knows.

I'll see if I can find it in my packet of info- I had to take that as well while stimming at LI-IVF. 
ETA: Here's what I found:
Dexamethasone- Most patients will be taking this oral corticosteroid to decrease the production of androgens and progesterone and get better follicles. You will take this pill every day starting on the first day of your stimulating medication, and continue until your HCG injection. The dose is 0.5mg pill every night.

I am at SIRM and start lupron and predinsone 10mg 2x a day next week. I don't start actual stims (gonal f) until 11/25 but will be on the predinsone until beta or hopefully beyond- if I get a bfp.
