Sterilizing Bottles?
This may sound like a silly question, but I would like to sterilize my bottles before we go to the hospital. What do you do with them to keep them clean after they are sterile though? Also, is it okay to throw plastic bottles in boiling water? I have born free, but it's still plastic.
Thanks!

Re: Sterilizing Bottles?
i sterilized all my bottles already - threw all of them into boiling water (even the plastic ones - totally safe) rewashed them, and then put them back together once dry and they are sitting in the cabinet waiting for her! I think it's totally ok that they are sitting there. They were dry when I put them together, and the caps are over the nipples, and the bottles are all together so they aren't going to get "dirty" in any way.

Re: Sterilizing Bottles?
Thank you! You would think I would have done this sooner, but somehow it slipped my mind. I'll probably do it today so there is one less thing to think about. Our baby is due Dec. 1st, so they shouldn't sit unused that long.
