Step Grandmother
Any suggestions on what to have your kids call your father's wife when they already call their biological grandmothers "Grandma".

We have three grandmother's on DH's side (his mom, her partner of ten years and his step-mom) and they are called Grandma Judy, Grandma Conny and Grandma Kate.
We will see if he comes up with anything on his own when he gets older.

we are calling my stepmom Tita--she's hispanic and on the short side...so we thought Tita would be a cute shortened version of Abuelita which means little grandma.
You could do an Oma, Bubby, GaGa...

This is a good question. We have a step-great grandmother, who is widowed from my grandfather. I know my biological grandmother will be upset if DS called her nanna or anything like that.

ugh- I had this problem. I made the mistake of asking my father- what should DD call his wife and he said grandma of course, so I didnt think much of it until my mom found out and all hell broke out. My MIL is deceased so dont have to worry about that. so anyway my mom thinks I call my stepmom grandma- with her name attached to it but I dont b/c I dont want to hurt my dads feelings. I guess I will cross that bridge when DD is old enough to say grandma and when they are in the same room together which is only holidays/birthdays/bbq's and DD says grandma- oh boy my mom is gonna have a fit. 
edited to say DD will call my grandma which is her great grandma Abuela.

Same thing - grandma - I had 3 grandmas - one was a step....
My stepmother is my baby's grandma - even my 10 yr old stepdaughter calls her grandma as well...

My husband's mother is Grandma Meg
My Dad is Grandpa
My Stepdad is Grandpa Richie

I was a step grandma at 30. My DD and my step grand son were only a year apart.He called me Grandma Phyl
