This is the house that we were looking at. It's in S. Bellmore. My FIL owns the house and showed it to us a while ago. It totally wasn't what we wanted but after walking around and thinking of all the potential that this house has, we decided that we are going to take it. Now we're waiting for our co-op to sell. My FIL says he will hold it for us, so we don't have to worry about losing it to another buyer.
It's in a great area...almost right on the water and it has a great school district.

Congratulations!! I am so happy for you!! I think homes with a lot of potential are the best! I want to make my house my own not just move in to the last persons house if that makes sense.
It sounds like a great catch!! By the water, potential, and a great school district! What more can you ask for!
