what is your purpose in staying at danfords? While I have never stayed at Danfords (grew up in pt jeff) I can say that I have eaten several times in the restaurant. IMO it is overpriced and disapointing.

We are looking into staying there overnight for our 5th anniversary. They have a package that includes a room for the night, a 4 course meal at Wave, breakfast in the morning, and champagne in the room.

Re: Staying at Danford's?

I worked there as a waitress for about 5 years (and stayed in their rooms numerous times), and while it was about 10 years ago, I know not much has changed there.
The restaurant is definitely overpriced and dissapointing, and the rooms are nothing special. In fact, they are pretty old looking IMO and not worth the money.

I stayed at Danfords last year, and while the rooms are fine, they certainly arent anything special. They are really blah, and basic and could use some updating, but they are clean. I have never had a good experience at the restaurant there.

I just got married there and I love Danfords. The rooms are nice, they were gutted and re-done 2 years ago. The beds are super comfy. All of my guests wanted to take them home.

Wave is expensive but I really like the package deal we are so going back for our anniversary.
