Starting to think about the christening.
Kind of weird since the baby is not even here yet. But Dh and I already deceided that it will be in our house and it will be immediate family and close friends only.
Anyone else planning or thinking about it?

Yeah we picked our godparents right away and have the date set and shes not even born yet.

we just hit the 2nd tri and have alrady talked about it. We ideally would love to have it here in NY at the church we were married at, but we are not sure if we will just do it in NC. we'll see, but either way it'll be just close friends and immediate family.

We've been talking about it but haven't booked anything yet. My mom just found my christening outfit so my DD can wear it. We will be doing something small, probably at home since it will be so close to the holidays.

We're going to talk to the priest in the next week or two. My mom took my wedding gown to have made into a christening gown. As far as parties, we're keeping it small - immediate family, an early dinner at a restaurant.

We have discussed it and decided we want to wait til spring (May) to have her christened. So she'll be a little older, but thats what we want.
