Started acupuncture again
I started acupuncture again last week (I go on Tuesdays) it was CD 8. I started getting cramping after my session. The cramping continued on and off.
Now today, CD 11, I have cramping again and the beginning if what looks like EWCM (very little but it's starting) 3rd high day on monitor and negative OPK.
I got my bfp the last time I did acupuncture (with iui) and I Oed 3 days sooner than my average O date. I'm assuming it really does jump start your O?? Anyone else experience this with acupuncture before?
I'm hoping I O this cycle bc I don't think I did last cycle (first after our loss)

Re: Started acupuncture again
Hey...
I have had 4 people tell me to do this in the last 2 weeks so I started looking into it. Do you have any places you recommend? I live in St. James.
Thanks for your help, Colleen

Re: Started acupuncture again
This is where I go
LI Holistic
I go to the Babylon location and see Andrea.
They are in Babylon and Lake Success. May be too far for you. There are others who do this as well. Maybe there will be other recommendations on this post.
I can't believe on CD11 I am already showing signs of O. It's crazy!
Other than helping with the actual ovulating and implantation, etc etc etc. It is SUCH a stress reliever. I cannot believe how great I feel when I leave there. And it lasts pretty much up until my next appointment. I find it so interesting how it changes your body.

Most needles don't hurt. Some feel uncomfortable and if they are, she will take them out and try a different spot. The ones in the hands bother me, but my hands are sensitive. Sometimes when the needle goes in, you feel tingles.
I lay there about 20 minutes with the needles in you. I always fall asleep.
I go once a week.
