I got a spray tan from the machine at Boca Tans and it came out really nice. I hope they have some more groupons this summer.

Any Beach Bum location. Just make sure you do the custom airbrush tanning and not just a regular spray tan.

How much is it for the custom airbrush?
I have to do this for a wedding. I'm fair and I saw their colors on the site. I really want to be dark if I'm going to have this done.
I don't care how ridiculous I look, as long as I look good in the pictures.
Do they do your face?

Yupp, they do your face. I think it's $35 for first time sprayers and $45 after that. Though definitely check their sites since they do put up coupons and specials from time to time.
I'm very fair so I started out with the lightest color (1; I think it goes from 1 to 5). I was still very tan and it looked very natural. The next time I went, I did a combo of 1 and 2 for a slightly darker look. I wouldn't go higher than that for me, it'd look unnatural and weird. 
Before you go- exfoliate! It really helps. Also, no make-up, moisturizer, any of that business. I tie my hair up in a loose bun on top of my head.
As for the spraying itself... I go in nothing but a tiny string of a thong. Fortunately, the girl at the Beach Bum by me (I'm in Queens, sorry! lol!) is so friendly and chatty so she makes you feel less weird about the fact that she is spraying your boobs brown. Do not plan to go out anywhere after, even the store. Haha! You look really gross right after being sprayed. You have to let it "set" for a few hours and then rinse in the shower (no soap, pat dry). The next morning you can take a normal shower with good old soap and everything. And you should be looking awesome! I find my tan looks best the 2nd day after spraying. It lasts about a week if you moisturize a lot. HTH!
ETA: The whole thing takes about 10 minutes; 5 for the actual spraying and it's freezing! I always wind up shivering by the end of it. Still worth it! lol!
