SPR: left overs....

How long would you wait to eat leftovers... I have a jar of sauce in the fridge opened on 4/30. Hate to waste it, but I think it's too old now. I hate to give old stuff to DS, and hate to eat it since I'm BF.

I only eat leftovers that are MAX 2 days. A jar of sauce MAYBE 4 days but not from 4/30. JMO

I eat left overs up to the 3rd day after that it goes out in the garbage.

I have an app that's called Still tasty (it was like 2 or 3 dollars ) and it tells you how long things are good for in the fridge and freezer and you can set reminders to tell you to eat your leftovers.

They say 7-10 days for opened jar sauce so I would think you could use it today but not past today

Some jars of sauce will tell you it's good for X days (I believe usually 7 days or 10 days). So I think it should be fine! Remember that jars are sealed with their lid, limiting the amount of air and decay.... well, at least I think so

Leftover cooked food? For us it's good until the 3rd day. After that, toss.
