SPR.. DIY "crafty" mommies please come in..
I know this sounds silly, and may not be parenting related, but it is to me, cause its for dd's 1st bday party lol I want to food color marshmellows for centerpiece fillers...can this be done??
Ive found bags of giant pink and white ones, so if i cant color them, then ill use these..BUT i kinda want them in more then just pink..
anyone know if you can do this? And are they like easter eggs? Do i leave them in as dark as i want them?? TIA

At my SIL's baby shower, I had chocolate colored marshmellows on the sweets table from Emerald City Sweets . I'm not sure how you'd dye something that was already cooked though.
Here are photos if you want to see (scroll down for marshmellows): http://www.lifamilies.com/chat/topic.aspx?&P=1&ID=457020

For a centerpiece, maybe varying shades of pink would be cool? Definitely go for the white sprinkle things. I think it makes it look so much nicer.

You could do this with white chocolate and add color

Not unless you plan on making the marshmallows from scratch. The store bought marshmallows would get moist and sticky. The coloring would also likely rub off.
