Spotting at 35 weeks
So I'm close to 36 weeks (this Saturday) and I have some spotting today when i went to the bathroom. I called my dr and i'm waiting for him to call me back, but I was wondering if any of you ladies had any idea if this is considered an emergency or if its normal.

Spotting at 35 weeks
Is it actually getting in your underwear, or just on TP when you wipe?

Spotting at 35 weeks
That happened to me around 38 weeks. I went to the Dr and i was told that I was having my bloody show and I had my DS about a week later.

Spotting at 35 weeks
Dr just called back, my spotting went away when i went to the bathroom again. he said if it comes back to go to the hospital and they will check me out. No contractions and LO is moving around... phew... thanks ladies!

Spotting at 35 weeks
Was it brown or red? Brown could be some of your plug coming loose. Also, was it after you had a bowel movement? If so, you might have just strained a little much and it irritated your cervix. Hopefully it doesn't come back!!

It was after peeing and it was bright red (like new blood) I always look in the toilet before i flush and I noticed the TP was redish so i wiped again and there were red spots on the TP.

Just keep an eye, which I'm sure you're doing, and try to rest a bit. Maybe the baby adjusted and is starting to drop a little. That could cause it too.
