It's a tube-top looking thing that you actually wear around your waist. You can either wear it with regular unbuttoned pants--the Bella holds you closed and smooth or you can wear it with maternity pants that are too big--the Bella holds them up.

Some people don't care for it, but like I said before, I loved it--especially since I have a hard time finding pants (esp. work) particularly in short lengths, so I continued to wear my non-maternity for quite a while.

They have all different brands. In motherhood they have their own brand that was $16. I bought it and I LOVE it. It makes the changeover so much easier because you can wear your pants longer with the zipper open and the band covers it or you can wear maternity pants that might be a little big with the band over it and it keeps them from sagging in the butt!

I second Tiffany's comment - I purchased it at Motherhood Maternity and it was a lifesaver!
