Thanks for crashing I wonder if Red Door in Woodbury is as good... they are much closer!

I got one at T Carltons last time I was preggo and it was great.
They have a table with a hole for your belly so that you can lay on your stomach.
My DH got me a gift card to get another one this time. I am saving it!! Can't wait!!

Hershey park by far was the absolute best chocolate prenatal massage. I had a pretty decent one at sandalwood. I tho.k I was just too pregnant honestly and laying on my back wasn't comfy I almost passed out.

You CANNOT lay down on your back when PG.
This is a HUGE no no.
You can lay on your back for up to 5 minutes until 22 wks PG and with a wedge under your right side to tilt the baby/belly on the left side.
A no go after 22 weeks.
yes, you can pass out. The baby would press on your Inferior Vena Cava and impair the blood flow from your lower extemities back to your heart.

This is a HUGE no no.
You can lay on your back for up to 5 minutes until 22 wks PG and with a wedge under your right side to tilt the baby/belly on the left side.
A no go after 22 weeks.

Just wondering if your doctor told you not to do that anyomore? I am 29 weeks pregnant and still sleep on my back without any problems. Should I be worried? I am not even doing it on purpose sometimes when I wake up I am on my back. When I was around 24 weeks I asked my doctor about this and he said that its fine and I would naturally just stop sleeping on my back. Now I am not sure....

I had a prenatal massage at the Woodbury Red Door and it was heaven!!

Yup! And they had a tummy cut out and everything! This was 2-3 yrs ago with my last preg. They actually did part of it while I was on my back and used my body weight to work my mid back. It was so different and relaxing.

I was not talking about what your Dr. allowed you or not to do. I am talking in terms of massage therapy. No pregnant women laying down on their back without a wedge under the right side of their body.
When you massage you affect the blood pressure of the client. So position is very important.
Dr. will vary their response on the topic.
In term of massage, you always go with the "safe" route.
