spinoff to working from home question...P/T work
I have a new part time job which by the time I give birth will be one or two nights a week from 6pm to 10pm. Given that DH will be home by 3 to take over parenting is it feasible for me to only take a 1-2 week leave from this job. I ask because I am a therapist so anymore that two weeks would be detrimental to the treatment of my patients. Also the money would be helpful!
Give your opinion based on breast feeding and formula feeding as I'm not sure which route I will be taking....

I think you will get all kinds of answers for this.
I felt great and would have been physically able to work. I was def lacking sleep so that could be an issue.
I FF so I think that helps as anyone can feed and no need for pumping etc.

Everyone is different. My son was born premature but it was a med free vaginal birth. I was discharged 12 hours after giving birth. I was willing to go back to work the next day. So yes I think it is feasible to plan for limited time off but keep in the back of your mind you may need more time depending on how you feel.
