Spinoff to time of birhtday party..

All of my family and friends will be coming from NY for DD's party in July. In order to get to our house you need to take the Garden State Parkway and even though we are the 2nd exit it still gets backed up because of the Jersey Shore traffic and the toll that is right their. The party is also on a Saturday. I was thinking about having in around noon that way people would leave their homes around 10 and probably hit only a little bit of traffic. So what do you guys think? Should I do it later but then if everything else is later people risk sitting in traffic on the way home.

I think noon is fine. I have been invited to many showers that actually started at 11am, so I think 12pm is fine for a birthday. I actually would rather go to an earlier birthday party because my son goes to sleep so early.
