Spinoff to Sunless Tanners...
Does anyone do the spray tans? I'm thinking of doing it but I want to hear the ins and outs of it first.
-How long does it take for the color to appear?
-Does it fade quickly?
-When it fades does it streak?
-Do your clothes/sheets turn orange?
TIA!

Re: Spinoff to Sunless Tanners...
I did it once, I'm super pale and it was a disaster....I think it's because I didn't do it correctly. I have friends who swear by it. The color appeared on me right away, then by the next morning I was bronze. It faded really quickly on me, but didn't streak. It did run a little on my clothes, but I wore a crappy t-shirt and sweatpants. My experience was with Hollywood Tans.
I prefer the gradual tanners on my skin, like L'oreal or Neutrogena.

I LOVE the Mystic Tan! I go once a week. I am very pale (I don't go in the sun at all) and it comes out great! It isn't too dark either - not orange.
I used to do another spray tan - that wasn't the mystic tan and it would turn orange.
If you are going to do it - do the mystic tan.
Then I follow it up daily with jergens natural glow.

Re: Spinoff to Sunless Tanners...
I was a mystic addict last summer.
I am so white.
It shows up in about 5-8 hrs
As long as you wipe it off good and in circles it does not streak
It turned my white bras orange where they rest on my skin but thats all
It fades within 5 days to a week depending on how much you shower or go in a pool or hot tub, etc.
I usually went in the am and didnt take a shower until the next day

Re: Spinoff to Sunless Tanners...
a good friend of mine was diagnosed with melanoma three years ago so she has sworn off tanning - she now gets spray tanned whenever she wants to be tan - she goes to Red Hots in roslyn - it lasts a decent about of time and she loves it
I recommended Red Hots it to a student who was disturbed by the story of my friend's skin cancer and she loved them as well

Love it! I go to Linda at Brazil Bronze in Great Neck. She does a great job. I did it for my wedding and go for special occasions or if I am just feeling blah....It's $50.
