Spinoff to Stollers question..
Right, everyone is always shocked that people would spend all that money on a Bugaboo, however, you all seem to have more than one stroller to fit every occassion...so my query is thus...how much do you reckon you have spent on strollers...

Not much actually... we purchased the Graco Metrolite travel system, and while I don't use the car seat anymore, I still use the stroller. We also bought two $20 umbrella strollers to keep in each car in case of emergency (i.e. mom or dad forget to pack the bigger stroller)... so overall, about $200.

I was actually thinking about this today after I saw that post about everyone having so many strollers. I received my stroller at my shower so I didn't spend anything. I didn't like the Bugaboo at first and thought it was overpriced. But it is growing on me the more I see it but their is no way DH would spend the money on it.

I would have bought the bugaboo in a heartbeat if it had been out when I was PG with DS 
I had a travel system ( got it at my shower) originally that I wound up hating and then after using a few hand me down strollers from my sister, my DH went out and got me the Peg Perego Venezia. Loved it and never needed another stroller.

The travel system was about $229 - received as a gift at shower
Chicco C5 Umbrella Stroller was $69 after a $20 off coupon at BRU

My MIL got us the Peg Perego Venezia and I got the MClaren as a shower gift. So we only ended up buying the Snugride for the infant car seat which was about $60 I think.

Our Graco was around $120, the jogging stroller was about $150 (I REALLY regret buying it since I barely used it) and the new double Graco will be almost $200.
