Spinoff to sharing names...

If you do share the names, do the comments that people make influence you decision to change the names you've chosen.

My mom did not say she didn't like the names we chose, but she didn't say she liked them either, and she made me feel like maybe I need to rethink some of the names we chose.

We have shared the names as long as we have had them picked out... when people ask.

I guess we have been lucky in the sense that we haven't gotten any rude comments about the names.

Honestly, even if we did, I don't think it would make us change the names we had chosen.

My mom didn't like the girl's name I like, and kept trying to push anothe rname thatI kept insisting I hate
But now she loves it.
She keeps voicing her negative opinion on naming a boy after his father, which I don't love either, but if it's important to him.... we'll talk about it
